A procession was brought out in Helsinki on Saturday demanding ensuring the rights of asylum seekers.
 
A few hundred people took part in the procession that began from the Kamppi Narinkka Square, where the demonstrators chanted slogans demanding, for example, safer routes for refugees. 
 
The procession ended in Senaatintori area, where the speakers held a rally focused on human rights.
 
In addition to Helsinki, marches to drum up support for the rights of the asylum seekers were held in more than 100 other cities around the world. 
 
The demonstrations were held in Turkey, the USA, Israel, and Canada, among other countries.
