Speaking at the YLE Ykkösaamu (Morning breakfast) programme, he said the reason for this is that there is not enough time to prepare the so-called compulsory laws before the next round of collective bargaining.
If the labour market organisations competitive agreement is not accepted by the board of Central Organisation of Finnish Trade Unions (SAK) on Monday, the government must develop further ways of improving competitiveness.
“We currently do not have a Plan B. We will start preparing it, if this [labour market organisation competitive agreement] fails. I will do everything I can to prevent it from failing,” Sipilä said.
Sipilä talked to SAK chairman Lauri Lyly on Friday and informed him about all possible ways to find out a solution.
