A man was run over by train in Helsinki on Wednesday shortly before noon, said the police.
The accident occurred at the main track near Kallio district.
A number of trains were pulled out of service for some were also delayed due to the incident.
The police do not suspect crime in relation to the incident. The train service re-sumed normal operations shortly after 2 pm.
