The main ruling party Suomen Keskusta (Centre Party) has emerged as the most popular political party in the country, according to latest national broadcaster Yle survey.
 
The last time Keskusta topped popularity contest in the Yle survey was in November 2015.
 
21.7 percent of the survey respondents said they would vote for Keskusta. This figure is a percentage point higher compared with February survey.
 
The main opposition party Suomen Sosialidemokraattinen Puolue (Social Democratic Party of Finland) dropped to second position with party's support currently at 20.3 percent after losing 2.6 percentage points.
 
The Kansallinen Kokoomus (National Coalition Party) support remains almost unchanged as in the previous survey at 17.1 percent.
 
12.5 percent of the respondents support the Vihreä liitto (Green League),9.5 percent support the Perussuomalaiset (Finns Party) while Vasemmistoliitto (Left Alliance) is supported by 8.3 percent of the respondents.
 
The Suomen ruotsalainen kansanpuolue (Swedish People's Party of Finland) and the Suomen Kristillisdemokraatit (Christian Democrats of Finland) garnered support of 4.7 percent and 3.6 percent respectively.
