The woman travelled last May to Ukraine with her three children with the intention of continuing through Georgia and finally to Jordan.
Her stay in Ukraine lasted about eight months. The woman and her former husband shared custody of the three children, and the woman took them without the consent of the former husband.
The prosecutor also sought punishment for the woman for aggravated deprivation of liberty, but the court rejected the charge.
