A woman was found dead in her residence at Mustasaari in Ostrobothnia early Saturday.
The Rescue Department received a call about the dead woman in the Raippaluoto neighbourhood.
An ambulance and police arrived at the scene and confirmed that the woman was dead.
The woman had external injuries.
The woman’s husband was taken into custody for questioning during the preliminary investigation.
The man and the woman were a middle-aged married couple.
The police are continuing their investigation and carrying out a technical investigation of the scene.
The police will announce more on Monday.
