Around 8,000 conscripts, reservists and military personnel from the Army, Navy, Air Force as well the Border Guard are participating in the exercise.
The exercise ends on Thursday.
The president monitored the exercise on the training ground and command positions and met reservists participating in refresher training, among other, said a release from the Office of the President.
“It was an impressive performance,” said the President upon meeting city residents at Kouvola market after the exercise. “It was quite warm, but the exercise appeared to flow in an excellent way. It left a reassuring picture of how Finns take care of things.”
