A man was found dead in the water near the shore at Vääksy in Päijät-Häme early Saturday morning.
The man was found in the water at the Kalmari beach on the Vesijärvi Lake.
The police do not know the man’s identity and have requested for people’s help in identifying the deceased.
According to the police, the man wore only sandals.
The police said the man is 30-40 years old, two metres tall and has a slender body type. He has brown hair and blue eyes. His hair is a mohawk and he has stubble on the sides and back of his head.
The police are requesting information from anyone who has seen a man matching that description or has found or seen abandoned clothes at the Vesijärvi.
