The police arrested a 36-year-old man in suspicion of assaulting a boy at a refugee reception cen-tre in Kuusamo late Thursday night.

The Oulu police said that both the man and the victim are residents at the reception centre.

The boy, however, did not suffer serious injuries, said the police.

The police did not comment on the way in which the assault was committed and did not elabo-rate on the course of events in detail.
