A man died in an ATV accident in Kankaanpää, police said on Thursday.
According to the police a local man, born in 1977, had been driving an ATV on a sandy forest road, most likely in the early hours of the night between Wednesday and Thursday.
The driver had lost control of the ATV in a turn to the left and skid into the right side ditch.
The ATV had kept on going along the ditch and slid into the woods.
After this the ATV crashed into a tree. According to the police the driver wearing a protective helmet had lost his life in the scene of the accident.
