The district court of Päijät-Häme on Friday sentenced a 54-year-old man to two years and seven months’ imprisonment for abusing his daughter and her friend sexually.
The court awarded the punishment to the father as the allegations of abusing his daughter and his daughter's friend for two years were proved beyond doubt.
Both the girls were 13 years old by the latter stages of the abuse.
The convict was also ordered to pay a compensation of 9,000 euros to his daughter and 7,000 euros to his daughter's friend.
The name of the convict was not disclosed in order to protect the victims.
