Supervision has also been enhanced and technical means have been improved.
The reason for the training and improvement in matters related to the register is because police staff in recent years have accessed information from the register in a number of occasions on matters which did concern them.
Unauthorised access of police register has been raised in public for instance, in Mika Myllylä death investigation and Anneli Auer trial.
Meanwhile, the police will be conducting enhanced supervision on road safety which includes observing the use of safety belts and helmets.
The police will also be attentive to factors which affect the concentration of motorists on the road such as use of mobile phones while driving.
The enhanced supervision will particularly focus on urban areas intersections and areas near schools.
