A man living in Mänttä-Vilppula has been fined for disparagement of refugees.
The District Court of Pirkanmaa found the man guilty of ethnic agitation.
In June, the man wrote on an open discussion website that disparaged the refugees residing in Mänttä's reception centre. In his post, the man called refugees “human waste” and likened them to “other creatures”.
The Court fined the man 25-day fines which amount to 625 euros of his income.
