Thu, 29 Sep, 2016 12:07:53 AM FTimes – STT Report, Sep 29  The Oulu District Court. Photo Lehtikuva. The Oulu District Court on Wednesday sentenced a man to four and a half years of imprisonment for aggravated rape of a previously unknown woman.
According to the court, the man lured the victim to his apartment in Oulu in the spring. Inside, he raped the victim several times.
The crime started in the bathroom, where the man pushed his victim. In the living room, the man hit the woman in the back, threw a mattress on the floor, and tore off the woman’s clothes.
The man covered the woman’s mouth with his hand to stop her screaming. During the ordeal, the man raised the victim and strangled her with his arm around her neck.
The victim’s opportunity to defend herself was reduced due to her limited mobility. The court considered this in making their judgement.
The 34-year-old convict was also ordered to pay compensation.
