The secretary of Perussuomalaiset (Finns Party), Riikka Slunga-Poutsalo said the grounds for obtaining Finnish citizenship for the refugees should be reviewed to make the process tighten.
 
Finland should follow the Danish model, said Slunga-Poutsalo to the Finnish language daily Keskisuomalainen.
 
According to the Finns Party secretary, the criteria regarding language skills as well requirement on period of residence and matters pertaining livelihood should be stricter.
 
Slunga-Poutsalo said Finland should be prepared for a new wave of refugees.
 
The Finns Party leader, however, expressed satisfaction at the government’s overall immigration policy.
