A man was killed in a road mishap involving a delivery truck at Hartola in Päijät-Häme on Thursday morning.
According to the police, the accident took place at about 7 am when the delivery truck veered off the road and hit a tree.
The 35-year-old man from Central Finland died in the accident. Use of alcohol is not suspected in the incident.
The police are investigating the incident as endangerment of traffic safety.
An investigation to determine the cause of the death will also be conducted. The traffic investiga-tion board is also investigating the accident.
