Gulf of Finland voluntary rescue service held a parade in remembrance of the deceased seafarers.

A total of 11 sea rescue vessels were involved in the parade.

The vessels passed from the tip of Hernesaari to Eteläsatama under the leadership of Pv Rautauoma.

At Eiranranta, the marine rescuers stopped the seafarers at the monument for a flag salutation.

After the parade, the public were allowed access to the vessels docked at Eteläranta.

Voluntary sea rescuers have helped over 3,400 people in the waters this year. Rescue efforts at the Gulf of Finland totaled nearly 390.
