One person was killed and four others were injured in separate incidents of clash during the celebration of All Saints’ Day in Tampere on Saturday.
 
The All Saints’ Day, however, was observed almost peacefully in other parts of the country.
 
The police said they had received a report of a stabbing incident early in the Saturday morning at about 6:00 a.m. in an apartment near Sastamala city centre where a number of young people were having a party from Friday night.
 
The police suspect that two people -- a 17-year-old boy and a 28-year-old man -- locked into a clash and attacked each other with sharp weapons, resulting in the death of the older man.
 
The incident is being investigated as murder. The police arrested a number of youngsters, including the suspect for interrogation.
 
In another incident, a 29-year-old man reportedly stabbed a 61-year-old person in an apartment of Kaleva area in Tampere at about 6.30 a.m. 
 
The elderly man who sustained wounds in his neck was taken to hospital in a critical condition.
 
The police arrested the suspect and are investigating the case as an attempt to murder.
 
In another incident, the police also received information about a blood-soaked man running in Peltolammi, Tampere on Saturday. 
 
The police patrol recovered the 37-year-old person with several marks of injuries in the head and other parts of the body inflicted with a bladed weapon.
 
The traces of blood led to an apartment where the police found a woman and a 1992-born man.
 
According to the police, the woman had injuries which somewhat was as a result of assault.
 
Investigations, however, led the police to a 1980-born man native of Tampere who was found in another apartment. The case is also being investigated as an attempt to murder.
