Police suspect a group of young men of violent crimes in Linnansaari, Oulu which occurred at the end of July.
On the basis of a completed pre-trial investigation, the police now suspect nine young men in two separate cases.
Six are suspects in both cases. The boys are all, according to police, aged between 15 and 17 years old.
In the first case, the victim was a 20-year-old man visiting Oulu. He was robbed. The case is be-ing investigated as robbery and aggravated assault.
In the second case, the victim was a 15-year-old boy, who according to police, was first beaten and then dragged to the beach and thrown in the water. The case is being investigated as aggra-vated assault.
The case has proceeded to the prosecutor.
