  The government has proposed amendments to the length of trial period during employment as well as for fixed-term employment and re-employment situations.    According to the bill sent to parliament, the maximum duration of the probationary employment period would be shortened from six to four months.    In addition, the government proposes that the employers’ obligation not to hire new employees after layoffs be shortened from nine months to four months.
