Man run over by train in Tuusula

Trains departing from the main track were delayed on Sunday after a man was run over at the Jokela train station in Tuusula.

According to the rescue department, the accident took place in the platform area before 5pm.

The railway traffic between Kerava and Riihimäki was suspended due to the rescue operation.

The national rail operator VR Group said the interruption caused 20-40 minutes delay of trains along the main track in the capital region.
