Itella to cut 147 jobs in Finland

Postal and logistics company Itella is set to terminate a total of 183 personnel including 147 in Finland from its expert and administrative sections.
The company took the decision on Wednesday after a negotiation process launched in April in this regard.
Itella said the number including the figure of voluntary arrangements and retirements was estimated at less than 350 in April.
The negotiation, however, did not involve officials engaged in the daily postal services.
