The year-on-year increase in rents was 3.3 per cent during the first quarter of 2015.
 
The rents of non-subsidised rental dwellings went up by an average of 2.8 per cent in the whole country, according to Statistics Finland’s data.
 
In the Greater Helsinki area the rents of non-subsidised rental dwellings went up by 2.7 per cent and in the rest of Finland by 2.9 per cent.
 
The rents of government subsidised dwellings rose by 3.8 per cent in the whole country.
 
Compared to the previous quarter, the rents of non-subsidised dwellings increased by an average of 0.9 cent and the rents of government subsidised dwellings by 1.5 per cent as per the data derived from quarterly statistics on rents.
