The fault in telecommunication operator Sonera’s network has been repaired, but periodic disruptions could still manifest, said the company.

Sonera's 2G and 3G networks experienced network disruptions on Thursday. In some cases, the calls could not go through.

The fault was experienced for the first time at noon, but the company has not been able to identify the cause of the fault.

According to Sonera, customers can get their network to work again in problematic situations by launching their devices again.
