Outdoor clothing company Halti on Monday announced it had dismissed the CEO of the company, Jukka-Pekka Vuori. 
 
Vuori is also the chairman of the Finnish Ski Association.
 
Halti said that Vuori's position as CEO has been terminated immediately. The company has appointed Sami Kiiski as the new CEO.
 
Kiiski rises to the position from inside Halti's management. Kiiski joined Halti in Sep-tember after leaving his position as vice CEO of Sultrade.
 
Vuori served as Halti's CEO for two years following a stint at Fonecta.
 
Vuori was first elected chairman of the Ski Association in 2013. Last May, the associa-tion chose him to continue as chairman for another term from 2015 to 2017.
