The volume of retail trade sales, from which the impact of prices has been eliminated, grew by 0.2 per cent over the same period.
In daily consumer goods trade, sales contracted by 2.1 per cent and the sales volume by 0.4 per cent in January 2015 from the corresponding period of the year before, the statistics show.
