The company operating income amounted to approximately 349 million euros compared to ap-proximately 325 million euros in the corresponding second quarter of last year.
The net sales increased by 2.8 percent to almost 3 billion euros.
The president and the CEO of Kone revealed that the company's profitable sales growth contin-ued during the second quarter. However, orders grew in all other regions apart from China, where they declined significantly.
The company also lightly raised its outlook for the current year.
