The chairperson of the Perussuomalainen (True Finns), Timo Soini participated in the demonstration on Sunday held in Paris protesting the legalization of the same sex marriage in France.
The True Finns lawmaker disclosed it in his personal blog.
‘It was a big demonstration in favour of the traditional understanding of marriage. As a standard of the European Union and EU citizen I also took part there,’ Soini told New Agency STT on Tuesday.
Soini said that he made his trip to France as part of the campaigning of the like-minded ideology for the upcoming European parliament elections.
Hundreds of thousands of people brought out a procession on Paris streets on Sundayprotesting the new law enacted by the government legalizing the same-sex marriage in the country.
