A man was killed when a woman allegedly stabbed him with a knife in Nivala on Saturday.
The incident took place at about 3.00 pm when the 29 years old woman reportedly attacked the 30 years old man as a sequel to altercation, police said quoting eyewitness.
The victim succumbed to his wounds in the ambulance on way to hospital, said sources.
The diseased hailed from Haapavesi.
Police took the accused woman to their custody and filed a murder case in connection with the incident.
Police already recovered statement of one of the eyewitness on Saturday.
