The District Court of Helsinki on Friday sentenced three men to imprisonment for online sexual crimes during 2010-2012 that targeted under-age girls.

The men were accused of sending intimate, sexually explicit and indecent comments to the girls as well making invitations to them.

The messages also praised the girls’ appearance, proposed sexual intercourse and contained other sex-related interactions such as asking if the girls were virgins.

The communication led to one girl meeting with the men which also resulted to sexual intercourse.

About 30 complainants from different parts of the country took part in the litigation in which Jouni Mikael Mustalahti, 26, Jukka-Pekka Kuntola, 34, and Sami Petri Granholm, 45, were given unconditional imprisonment sentences ranging between two years and two years and nine months.

In addition, one man also received a prison sentence of six months.
