One person died on Monday after a detached house caught fire in Tervola, Lapland.
Four other people were exposed to fumes, according to the emergency and rescue services.
According to the chief fire fighter, there was no need to rush the four survivors to hospital but their condition was examined on the ground.
The fire alarm was received at 3:00 PM and the extinguishing work continued till late in the evening.
The fire came from the house’s kitchen, said the chief fire fighter.
