President Sauli Niinistö and first lady Jenni Haukio will welcome the guests in the Presidential Palace on 2 June, said an official press release.
The presidents will, in particular, discuss relations between Finland and Tanzania and opportunities for economic cooperation.
Other topics will include multilateral cooperation, regional development in Africa and issues pertaining to the global economy and development.
During his visit, President Kikwete will visit Finnish businesses and Aalto University in Espoo.
Tanzania is Finland's longest-running and largest development cooperation partner.
Lately, the two countries have sought to shift from traditional development cooperation to broader, commercial and economic cooperation.
In Finland–Tanzania relations, the emphasis has been on trade and investments between the two countries.
President Kikwete's visits to Finland and other Nordic countries mark the end of his term of office.
The President will continue his trip to Sweden.
