Three Finnish men received conditional imprisonment in Pihtipudas for a fight in 2012 with two Estonian men.
The Central Finland District Court sentenced the men to one-and-a-half years for, among other things, aggravated assault.
Assault charges were dropped for the Estonians, as well as for three other Finnish citizens.
The Finns said that they followed the Estonians for stealing from a shop. They claimed in the trial that they were tired of thefts attributed to foreigners.
The Estonians were followed by car to a forest road, where the fight began.
The convicted men have to pay more than 7000 euros in compensation for the assaults and subsequent suffering.
The Estonians were sentenced to a fine of over 100 euros in compensation for the thefts.
