Minister for Foreign Affairs Timo Soini on Tuesday paid his first ministerial visit to Stockholm and met his Swedish counterpart Margot Wallström, said an official press release.
 
The themes of their discussions included the countries' bilateral relations, Nordic foreign and security policy cooperation, the situation in Ukraine and Russia, and topical issues in the EU and the UN.
 
The Finnish Foreign minister is scheduled to visit Tallinn on Wednesday and meet the Estonian Minister of Foreign Affairs Keit Pentus-Rosimannus.
 
The Foreign Ministers will discuss, among other things, the countries' bilateral relations, the current situation in Ukraine, developments in the security policy situation in Europe, and EU issues.
