The two will likely be presented at court for remand on Tuesday.
 
The images of the incident have been examined during the investigation and the act will be investigated as murder.
 
The police did not reveal what kind of weapons was used during the act, but it is believed a number of objects were used.
 
However, no firearm or edged objects were used in the act.
 
The victim was a 58-year-old man who was about to retire.
 
According to the lead investigator, Petri Savela, an overall assessment which takes into account the brutality of the act and the intent will be considered on the part of the murder suspects.
 
Savela also revealed that the matter has been discussed with the prosecutor.
 
Besides murder, the case will also be investigated as aggravated robbery and endangering traffic safety.
 
In addition to a counsellor, four other young boys were present during the time when the killing took place.
 
The suspects have been interrogated. According to the police, they have been cooperative and recounted the events.
 
The suspects were caught in Kuopio immediately after the killing act.
