The location of the planned TeliaSonera data centre in Helsinki has been confirmed.
According to the City of Helsinki, the data centre will be located in Pitäjänmäki district of Helsinki.
Last month TeliaSonera announced that it will build a data centre in Helsinki which will become Finland's largest commercial data centre.
The exact location of the planned data centre was not revealed at the time of the announcement.
The data centre is scheduled for completion in late 2017 in the area between Höyläämötie and Valimotie, which Sonera partly acquired from private owners.
Part of the land is owned by the City of Helsinki which it has leased to TeliaSonera in preparation for the project. A number of alternative locations for the data centre were also explored.
