The District Court of Oulu remanded one of the underage boys suspected of killing a male counsellor at a children’s care home in Muhos over the weekend.
The decision whether to remand the other suspect has not been made.
The boy who was born in 1998 was sent behind the bars in suspicion of murder and aggravated robbery.
The killing of the man happened in the room of one of the suspects on Saturday.
The victim was on a night shift.
The police had earlier revealed that the suspects had fled the scene on a stolen car. They were later caught in Kuopio.
The police have so far refused to divulge details as well as the motive of the crime.
