Three young men were killed in separate road accidents in North Karelia and Satakunta early Saturday and late Friday night.
In Tohmajärvi, two young men were killed in a violent crash. A third man in the car was seriously injured.
The accident happened along Kirkkotie after 1am. According to police, the car was headed south and ran into trees at the end of Kirkkotie. In the collision, the car broke up into three parts.
Kirkkotie has a speed limit of 30 kilometres per hour.
The case is being investigated as aggravated endangerment of traffic safety and aggravated manslaughter.
The police are investigating the movement of the gray Volkswagen Passat around Tohmajärvi Friday night and Saturday morning.
In Jämijärvi, another young man died Friday night in a car accident. Driving alone, the local resident died when his car left Jämintie and crashed.
