The identity of the person has been revealed to be a 19-year-old resident of Päijät-Häme who is not known to belong to any activist group.
 
The man is wanted by the police, and the police have contacted him.
 
Asylum seekers arriving at an emergency reception centre in Hennala were pelted with stones and fireworks upon their arrival.
 
A man dressed in Ku Klux Klan robe was seen standing at the scene.
 
The police are continuing with investigation by speaking and interrogating identified persons as well as examining video footage.
 
The case is being investigated as inciting public disorder, cause of injury, assault and desecration of the flag of the country. Furthermore, it is to be examined whether the incident fulfils the criteria of agitation against an ethnic group. The case is classified as a racist crime.
