Lampela was also charged with another assault, but the Espoo District Court rejected the charge.
Lampela denied the charges but otherwise refused to comment on the case.
According to the judgment, Lampela assaulted a female friend in May in a holiday home in Lehtisaari in Espoo. Among other things, he pushed the woman onto a bed, choked her and spat on her face. Following the assault, he threatened her.
The woman refused to testify in court. However, the prosecution proved his guilt using the preliminary investigation report, emergency service records, a medical report, photos, a radio interview given by the woman, and more.
