Several hundred motorists who were fined for speed driving during the Christmas period have received the same tickets twice by mails.
The police said the mails were repeated mistakenly due to a fault with the automatic surveillance camera system.
The mails were sent on the basis of observation of images picked up.
Approximately 1,400 motorists received the duplicate tickets.
The police said the fault will be corrected and that no more additional traffic tickets will be sent.
Motorists should react to only one ticket and the extra fine notification may be destroyed, said the police.
