Three elderly men were on Tuesday sentenced to imprisonment for different terms for possessing amphetamines with the intent to distribute.
The Vantaa District Court said they were guilty of aggravated narcotics offenses.
The men had acquired about five kilograms of amphetamines, which the police had impounded. The drugs were hidden on land in the municipality of Orimattila.
One convict, 60, received 7 years in prison, while another convict aged, 63, re-ceived seven-and-a-half years.
The third convict, 59, got eight-and-a-half years. In addition to the possession conviction, he was also sentenced for several other aggravated drug offenses, drunk driving, a firearms crime, and other crimes.
