The government on Wednesday survived a motion of no confidence with 96-61 votes.
A total of 42 lawmakers were absent during the voting.
The interpellation was lodged by the opposition Vihreäliitto (Green League), Vasemmisto liitto (Left Alliance), Suomen kristillis demokraatit (Christian Democrats of Finland), and Suomen ruotsalainen kansanpuolue (Swedish People’s Party of Finland).
The opposition demanded answers from the government regarding the agricultural crisis.
Prime Minister Juha Sipilä said the government will decide on crisis support while planning the next supplementary budget after EU’s actions have been seen.
