The Päijät-Häme district court on Friday ordered detention of a woman on charge of wounding another woman at library park in Lahti last week.
The police arrested the woman on charge of attempted manslaughter.
The incident of attack took place at about 10 pm of July 14, police said.
According to the head of investigation Jari Kiiskinen, the women did not know each other be-forehand.
The victim was injured in the attack and taken to the hospital and later released.
According to Kiiskinen, the details of the incident were not made public at this moment as the investigation is still on.
