A 10-year-old boy riding a tractor driven by his grandfather was killed in an accident at Nivala in Northern Ostrobothnia on Wednesday, police said.
The accident took place at Mehtäläntie area at about 5:30 pm.
The boy's grandfather lost control of the tractor which afterwards veered off the road.
The boy fell off the tractor's cab ending up below the overturned tractor. The boy died from the injuries sustained in the accident.
The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
