Charges will not be framed against a man who was draped in Ku Klux Klan (KKK) robe in Hennala, Lahti.
 
No evidence of intentional crime was found against him in this connection.
 
The prosecutor made two decisions not to raise charges against the suspicions which was related to a demonstration near a refugee reception centre last year in September.
 
The young man from Asikkala was suspected of illegal masking, desecration of the Finnish flag as well as crimes of inciting the public.
 
The man wore a KKK-styled robe, held a Finnish flag and aired his opinions on matters related to the treatment of asylum seekers.
 
The prosecutor stated that the man for instance did not exceeded freedom of speech and neither was holding of the Finnish flag in the hand disrespectful.
 
According to the prosecutor, there is no evidence that a journalist who was at the scene encouraged the young man to hold the Finnish flag.
