Pro and anti-immigrant demonstrations were staged in Vuosaari, Helsinki on Saturday.
Helsinki police department senior superintendent said that less people that what was anticipated gathered at the scene.
According to police estimates, about 250 people joined the demonstration opposing immigrants, while about 40 people gathered for the pro-immigrant demonstration.
The anti-immigrant demonstration and the counter demonstration were directed to different parts of the Mosaiikkitori square.
The demonstrations began at 3:00 p.m. and ended after 5:00 p.m.
