Eight police officers from Finland will begin their UN peacekeeping operations in Mali and Li-beria early next week, reported the Ministry of the Interior.
Finland has supported its participation in UN peacekeeping operations with 20 new police ex-perts.
Finnish police are being sent to Mali, Liberia, Somalia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and South Sudan.
The operations mainly involve Finnish police officers working with local police officers as train-ers and advisors.
So far, 19 Finnish police officers have been confirmed for UN peacekeeping operations
