The fair got record number of visitors on Saturday, the day before of the concluding day when 6,387 people visited the fair, said sources.
Although the number of visitors was satisfactory in Hyvinkää this year, it was 15,000 less than the gathering in the housing fair organised in Tampere last year.
The ever highest number of visitors was recorded at 247,000 in the fair of Tuusula held in 2000.
The Hyvinkää city authority said that they were able to increase the image of the city through organising the fair this year.
The city authority operated special transport service to travel to and from Hyvinkää during the fair and arranged special service to introduce the visitors with the important spots.
“The businesses of hotel, restaurant, shops and travel companies were beneficiaries of the fair,” said Hyvinkää city communication leader Sari-Leena Humppi, adding that the visitors were given different facilities including parking space during the fair.
