Finnish exports to Russia declined by 12 per cent in January-September, according to the Finnish Customs data.
The total value of exports for this period was 3.5 billion euros.
Imports from Russia declined by 15 per cent and was valued at 6.8 billion euros.

Exports to Russia included mostly machinery and equipments. The export of these products fell by seven per cent from the previous year for the period January-September.
Exports to Russia began to shrink in autumn last year.
According to the Finnish Customs, the crisis in Ukraine has had little effect on the total exports to Russia. However, the exception has been on food exports whose decline was significant following Russia’s ban on Western food and dairy products.
The Customs said food exports to Russia accounted to 35 per cent of the total food exports from the country in July, while in September it was more than 11 per cent.
